CAE_Simulation_Engineer_Suspension

Summary of Job Profile                                                                    
1. Structural Simulation of automobile Chasis systems.
2. Preprocessing of various System and sub-system analysis according to guidelines
3. Contribute to the design life cycle of the product by Structural Linear, Non-Linear and Fatigue Simulations.
4. Apply engineering concepts to enhance accuracy of simulation results.
5. Understand the customer requirements and processes and implement it according to guidelines.
6. Co-ordinate with the team and customer to perform the job with 100% quality within due date.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
1. FE-modeling and assembly of Chasis system components
2. Solver deck preparation based on the analysis type
3. Postprocessing, Validating and/or Correlating the results
4. Simulation Report generation
5. Understand the requirement and guidelines from customer and follow the process to meet the due dates
6. Co-ordinating with team members for the timely execution of the project
7. Prepare project Schedule, maintain the timeline and complete before stipulated deadline
8. Good communicaation skills & good team player

Knowledge, Skill, Abilities(KRA's)required to successfully perform the job
1. Basics of FEM, Strength Of Materials.
2. Solid Mechanics
3. Mechanical Vibrations, Structural Dynamics
4. FE modleing (2D & 3D), Linear, Non-Linear, Dynamic and Fatigue concepts
5. System level knowledge, Capable to interact with international customers, team work
6. Cope up with challenging working conditions
7. HyperMesh (must), Abaqus (Versatility with Keywords) , FE-Safe or FEMFat
8. OptiStruct and Radioss added advantage
                                                        
Education,Experience,Licensure,Certification required for the position
Experience:        B.Tech 3 ~ 5 years & M.Tech 2~3 yrs
Qualification :     B.E./ B.Tech,   Mechanical / Automobile / Production
                           M.E/M.Tech,   Engineering Design / Mechanical
Specific Technical Qualification/Certification :FEM, Structural Design and/or Durability certification courses or trainings from recognised institutions is an added advantage                                            
Competencies required to successfully perform the Job
Technical Competencies:
1. Expertise in Shell & Solid FE-modeling using Hypermesh
2. Good skills on Non-linear & Simulation capabilities
3. Automotive domain knowledge will be added advantage
                                                
Non- Technical Competencies:
1. Capable to manage the project and deliver according to requirement
2. Problem solving capabilities, multi-tasking skills will be added advantage
